QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Hours will range from 7-4 to 8-5. Flexibility is desired. Some evenings will be required when we offer specific programs to support global employees. Working from 9PM-11PM CST once a week for 7 weeks would be required once a quarter to support Asia's operations.
  • 3 years of facilitation experience, with high-quality learning programs across multiple levels of an organization
  • 3 years of experience consulting with departments to identify learning and performance needs and solutions
  • 3 years of experience with leadership development programs preferred
  • We need at least 3 years of experience in learning and employee development. Experience in Leadership Development would be highly valuable for this role.
    • This role will support our leadership development programs, onboarding programs, and other projects to support individual business units.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Hands-on experience organizing corporate learning events and programs
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, or comparable discipline
  • Experience tracking and documenting learning activities
  • Familiarity with external learning content providers and learning management systems (LMS)
  • Knowledge of traditional and emerging learning design theory and practice
  • Understanding of talent management and succession planning
  • Ability to foster and maintain strong professional relationships
  • Must be willing to work a flexible scheduling including periodic evenings to support global employees

What will you be doing?

The Learning Consultant drives the evolution of learning and development within WWT and brings strategic, learning design to the forefront to help business units identify and solve key talent challenges. This role serves as a subject-matter expert within the Learning and Employee Development team and assists with the overall strategy and approach to learning across the company. The Learning Consultant will support global employees and periodic evenings will be required. Experience with Leadership Development programs is preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with the Learning & Employee Development team to map out long-term learning plans and select the most appropriate strategy, methodologies, and technologies to meet business outcomes
  • Assume overall program management of key learning programs, including budget and logistics
  • Facilitate instructor-led sessions (currently 100% virtual, likely hybrid post-pandemic)
  • Receive inquiries from business owners and stakeholders, and consult to provide strategic direction regarding learning
  • Assist Learning & Employee Development with assessing the impact of learning on employee performance
  • Liaise with external partners and outsource learning, as needed
  • Create programs based on learner needs and business objectives
  • Create reference material to support learning programs and end users
  • Perform additional duties as required:
    • Scheduling and tracking of learning programs
    • Assigning learning, reporting
    • Supporting routine content review of existing programs
