The Role:

McCann Worldgroup is seeking a Senior Client Financial Analyst. The role is responsible for the financial management of key MWG clients, commercial agreements, reporting and general day-to-day activities. This candidate supports the finance team for all financial deliverables to clients, including reporting and reconciliations. This candidate also works closely to ensure financial elements of the client relationship are communicated, tracked, monitored and managed. The role requires strong attention to detail, an understanding of financial software and an ability to consolidate large amounts of data in a fast paced environment.

What You Will Do:

The Senior Client Finance Analyst for McCann Worldgroup will be required to:

• Support the Director with the preparation and management of client financial deliverables, including, but not limited to the following: Client staffing plans, revenue budgeting and forecasting, preparation and distribution of monthly financial reports.
• Month end close: Labor revenue calculations, journal entries, and reporting schedules.
• Partner with project and budget managers to ensure client reporting requirements are adhered to in a timely manner: Job and rate card maintenance, agency fee billing schedules, labor burn reports.
• Assist in developing annual retainer and incremental contracts across the network of agencies.
• Provide proactive analytical support and other ad hoc financial analyses as needed.
• Continually look to enhance current processes to provide greater efficiencies.
• Work closely with the Controllers team and business unit finance contacts.
• Coordinate across other sister agencies to gather and disperse templates, data and reporting.
• Eventually be able to manage the day to day activities and make responsible business decisions with little supervision.

Who You Will Be:

To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrable previous relevant experiences and skills with the following:

Key Skills

• Experience in an Advertising Agency financial role preferred (2 Years).
• Approachable and solution-oriented when presented with problems / issues by staff and team, breaks down problems and issues into critical parts which can be resolved.
• Ability to express oneself clearly and concisely in oral and written communications.
• Strong quantitative skills, including analytical abilities and math proficiency.
• Extremely detail-oriented, with clear and proven organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize action items and multitask depending on sense of urgency.
• Knowledge of accounting and financial statement analysis.
• Experience with Hyperion and SAP or similar software
• Team player who can function well in a fast paced environment and work within strict deadlines
• Advanced Excel skills, ability to learn financial systems quickly.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required. 
• Have the mentality/flexibility to meet various adhoc deadlines on a given notice.
