Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and materials handling.
- Supervise a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes and procedures to improve productivity and accuracy.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate logistics and ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Utilize AS400 or other warehouse management systems to track inventory and monitor performance metrics.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to optimize warehouse operations.
- Manage relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers as needed.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in warehouse management.
Skills:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or similar role.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Knowledge of logistics principles and practices.
- Familiarity with AS400 or other warehouse management systems.
- Experience in process improvement initiatives to streamline operations.
- Proficient in shipping and receiving procedures.
- Understanding of e-commerce fulfillment processes is a plus.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
