We are currently looking to hire Project Coordinator who will be knowledgeable in sheet metal, pipefitting, and/or plumbing installation, the commercial HVAC industry and possess ideally at least 2 years’ experience in project coordination.
Project Coordinator’s Responsibilities:
- Assist the project team with documentation and coordination for the life of the construction project.
- Proactively look for anomalies in job costs and bring them to the attention of PM and AP if needed
- Assist Project Manager in invoice review and resolution
- Update job costs reports based on PM input.
- Input and update equipment release logs and submittal logs
- Follows up with all subcontractors to obtain submittals for all divisions of the spec
- Assist Superintendents, PE’s and PM’s with purchasing requests. Maintain log and follow up on purchasing priority lists with PM and Purchasing
- Process submittals, RFI’s and maintain RFI logs
- Create closeout log Track O&M Manuals and as built drawings from all vendors and subcontractors
- Track O&M Manuals and as built drawings from all vendors and subcontractors.
- Track external project deliverables for Project Team to ensure submission in a timely manner
Project Coordinator’s Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in project coordination
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience
- A general understanding of HVAC & Plumbing
- Well organized and detail oriented
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
