The mission of the Woven IT Engineering team is to increase productivity and accelerate delivery of software and services for both Woven Planet and the larger Toyota organization as a whole. We do this by building and integrating best of breed cutting-edge technologies to help engineering teams go faster, safer. By providing modern, agile and transparent services to our customers, we aim to realize Woven Planet's vision of "Mobility to Love, Safety to Live".

We are looking for a network engineering team leader with deep networking expertise and the ability to build a world-class networking team conversant in leading-edge networking technologies. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and grow the careers of a team of network engineers
- Mentor and coach junior engineers helping them skill up at every opportunity
- Work with networking hardware and software vendors to deliver high value solutions
- Take ownership of installation, configuration, monitoring, documentation, and automation of network infrastructure and corporate systems
- Respond to complex issues and problems when necessary ensuring that all issues and problems are worked on until the issue is resolved. Conduct post-mortems capturing learnings and actions.
- Work closely with the Security team to improve the infrastructure security
- Establish documented procedures, policies and processes relating to the network and its governance
- Support the design, development, documentation, implementation, and operation of the network
- Maximize the level of automation and self-service features reducing manual toil and operational expense
- Provide visibility of network performance metrics
- Act as technical expert in a specific process or product area, conducting process reviews and initiating change in order to contribute to continuous improvement of services to internal customers
- Work with colleagues across the IT function
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology or related technology field
- 10 years of experience in a progressive career with a minimum of 5 years in direct management
- Excellent communication and people engagement skills
- Agile/Scrum experience in delivering infrastructure
- Experience with deploying and operating Software Defined Networks, 10G/100G Network.
- Experience with enterprise networking equipment from Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto and Aruba / or other vendors
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with hosted environments such as AWS, Google Compute Engine, or Azure
- Designing and building MDF/IDF infrastructure
- Implementing and tuning network and systems security in a large, complex multi-site environment
- Operational knowledge of DNS, DHCP and IPAM management through Infoblox
- Good Understanding of Infrastructure Security, Zero Trust, SAML IdP.
- experience of configuring OSPF, BGP routing protocols.
- Automation experience like ansible, terraform.
