WOW Logistics is now hiring for a CAD Designer!
WOW Logistics is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented CAD Designer to join our Real Estate department. This person should have at least 2 years of AutoCAD/Architecture experience as well as continuing education in the field of Architecture and Commercial construction.
WOW’s Real Estate department uses CAD software to bring preliminary designs to life for new building projects. The CAD Designer will also work with WOW’s Engineering department, which uses CAD software to develop storage layouts for efficient operations in both new and existing buildings.
Responsibilities:
- Create preliminary architectural drawings for use in sales cycle of new real estate development projects
- Update and maintain library of drawings for existing real estate infrastructure
- Work with PPI and Engineering departments to implement designs for new and existing facilities
- Assist VP and PM of Real Estate with updating/maintaining general specifications
- Assist PM of Real Estate and Manger of Repair & Maintenance with repair/replacement projects at existing facilities
- Assist with managing projects – New developments and existing infrastructure
Qualifications:
- Must be detail-oriented and well organized; excellent written, listening, verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Must be proficient in AutoCAD/Architecture – a proficiency test will be administered as part of the interview process. Experience with REVIT a plus
- General understanding of Commercial construction
- Experience with design of ambient, cooler and freezer warehouses a plus
- Strong MS Office Skills: including Word, Excel and Outlook is a must
- Strong math skills
- Ability to prioritize, organize, self-manage, and successfully balance multiple tasks and requests to meet project deadlines
- Must have a strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
