Job Summary
WPD Management is a full-service property management firm that specializes in Chicago. We are a growing company doing both third-party management and the management for our own holdings. We are continuing to expand rapidly with our current unit count approaching 3,500 and we are excited about the opportunities in today’s market.
Responsibilities and Duties
Help and assist with finance operations of WPD Management LLC and its commonly-owned holding companies
Reconciliations of client bank accounts
Functional responsibility over accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll
Maintain and audit purchases by employees company wide
Close out open bills on a weekly basis along with recording and depositing rental income
Maintain and assist with CHA inspection data along with collaborating with other departments
Maintain and audit leasing commissions within company
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelors of Science in Business with a concentration in accounting, finance, etc.
Stellar organization and attention to detail
Knowledge of computer programs - Word, Excel, QuickBooks
Effective interpersonal and communication skills - both written and oral
Self starter who will stick with projects to ensure execution.
Excellent multi-tasking skills - ability to manage more than one task and project for the company during any given day
Knowledge of accounting rules, regulations, policies, and procedures that is reflective of the financial services industry
