Performance Profile: Property Manager

Why We Need You – The MissionAs a member of our Property Management Team, you will be responsible for a portfolio of properties. You will be the lead at each location and be the face of the organization, building relationships within each community. Some responsibilities include customer service, resident retention, property revenue, and overall performance management of each building.

This position needs to work with multiple departments within the organization and outside vendors to achieve long term success. What You’ll Accomplish – Your Performance ObjectivesWhat will you need to do to establish immediate credibility and trust within our team in the first 3 months?

● Responsiveness to all communications with team members, staff, vendors, and residents.

● Eagerness/openness to ask questions and promote a dialogue to understand objectives.

● Successfully master our software and obtain a residential leasing license.

In the first 6 months what three things will you need to accomplish to be considered a success?

● Ability to improve the core items for each of your properties. (Collections,Occupancy, Rent increases, Renewals).

● Fully understand day-to-day operations in your portfolio. Resident relations, janitorial, pest control, move-in to move-out cycle, and maintenance/facilities related issues.

● Successfully perform building assessments, audits, and potential capital improvements to ensure the longevity of the property’s performance.

What are the essential skills / competencies you will need to hit the ground running and accomplish your objectives?

Outstanding communications and detail-oriented – You are someone with the ability to communicate detailed information across multiple platforms to multiple departments to ensure every property’s success. A high functioning property manager has the ability to quickly assess a situation and provide all necessary details and actions to numerous departments.

Customer service abilities and Relationship Building- You are someone who has the ability to quickly establish trust and respect with your residents and team members. You will need to quickly adjust to different situations and complexities.

● Technical Skills – You are someone who is able to learn new software quickly.You will have 4 years of experience with Microsoft products, especially Excel.

● Growth Mindset – You are someone who is open to different ideas and enjoys learning new processes. You are an individual who will take the initiative to create or improve gaps in current processes to enhance the long-term results for our team.

● Excellent work ethic and time management – You are someone who is self-motivated and consistently comes in early and stays late. You are a grinder who thrives on outperforming expectations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
