WR Community Services Home Healthcare is looking for a Personal Care Assistant to support the personal needs and comfort of our residents. The ideal candidate will be able to provide quality care and attention to our residents. The position requires the ability to deal effectively with residents concerns as well as provide assistance in the daily operations of the facility.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship, basic care and attention to personal needs of residents
- Assist with personal care and basic hygiene tasks
- Maintain a clean and healthy environment for residents while ensuring their safety
- Work with other community partners to support the health and well being of residents
- Maintain a professional demeanor in daily interactions with the community
Skills
- Proven experience as a personal care assistant or relevant position
- Must possess physical stamina and endurance as well as the ability to be light/lunch shift
- Ability to work with little supervision or between scheduled hours as a personal care assistant
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.50 - $14.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
