Position: RN Preceptor
Location: St Johnsbury, VT 05819
Shift: 12 hour Day
Duration: 13 Weeks
Salary: $2250/week to $2400/Week
Responsibilities:
- Precept and mentor new graduates and nurses transitioning to Med/Surg.
- Provide comprehensive care to a variety of patients, including those with COPD, CHF, DM, and post-surgical conditions.
- Perform medication management, patient assessments, and critical thinking interventions.
- Utilize SBAR for effective communication and handoff reports.
Requirements:
- Experience: 3-4 years in a Med/Surg unit.
- Licensure & Certifications: Vermont RN License, BLS required, ACLS/PALS preferred.
- Skills: Medication management, communication (SBAR), critical thinking, and nursing skills for Med/Surg unit.
Shift Times: 6:45a - 7:15p
Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend
Holiday Expectations: No holidays for the preceptor.
RTO: Up to 5 days
Scrub Color: Any color, patterns allowed
Parking: Free
