Warehouse Associate

Role and Responsibilities

Work independently or in team to pick and pack

Safety relocate or repack inventory items as directed , up to 50lbs in weight

Operate machinery or other light equipment as trained in safety and responsible manner

Comfortable to working in an environment where there are forklifts and other standard equipment

Order puller, logs into warehouse system, and place pallets in the proper location.

Fills customer orders

Checks part numbers, cleans and packs inventory items,.

Inspects inventory for defects, scratches or other damage. Remedies and corrects deficiencies within scope, and notifies appropriate personnel for issues requiring escalated attention. Notifies Warehouse Supervisor of problems.

Follows all company safety and accident procedures while on company premises or operating company vehicles or equipment.

Process, package and orders accurately

Reports any customer problems or concerns immediately.

Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures

Keep warehouse clean and organized daily

Consistently displays integrity, responsibility, accountability, teamwork and ethics.

Performs assigned job duties and responsibilities in accordance with company policies, procedures and standard practices.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent GED

One (1) years of experience working in a warehouse setting and in operating warehouse equipment and machines including, without limitation, a forklift; Or

An equivalent combination of education and experience

Working Environment & Physical Requirements:

This position requires frequent lifting and/or moving objects of up to 50 pounds. The working environment consists of exposure to a non-climate controlled warehouse environment with occasional exposure to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Frequent operation of heavy machinery including but not limited to a forklift.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $21.60 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Evening shift
