POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Under the general direction of the Controller. Performs accounting work related to the life cycle of CEI contracts and Subcontracts – from contract establishment to close out of projects.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the general direction of the Controller. Performs accounting work related to the life cycle of CEI contracts and Subcontracts – from contract establishment to close out of projects.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monthly invoicing for CEI prime and subconsultant contracts
- Weekly timesheet management and PM approvals
- Administration of contract documents and budgets
- Project set-up and project staff assignments by position
- Contract management to include amendments for funding and positions, recoveries, and task work order-based contracts
- Work order creations
- Subconsultant agreements, COI and management of funds/hours/etc.
- Monthly project-specific reporting
- Coding of Accounts Payables invoices for subconsultants by project
- Assists with collections and/or communications for Account Receivable
- Timely responses to clients and co-workers via phone calls, meetings and emails
- Performs related work and special projects, as requested
- Willingness to learn and evolve with growth of company
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years job costing experience
- Minimum of 3 years invoicing and contract management experience
- Understanding of invoicing processes
- Ability to organize work and responsibilities
- Ensure demanding deadlines are met – by clients and internal deadlines
- Strong Microsoft Excel, Adobe Pro, and SharePoint skills
- Experience in engineering and/or construction industry preferred
- Rapidly learn policies and procedures related to workflow
- Experience in Deltek products – Costpoint, Vision and/or Vantagepoint
- Experience in software conversions
