As an Instructional Designer, you’ll have the opportunity to work on a team that impacts staff in direct and meaningful ways, each and every day! Your day might include:
Assuring quality member service through responsive and positive interaction with co-workers. Consulting with leaders & team members in order to respond to requests efficiently and effectively, working to develop strong relationships with co-workers to ensure continuing support and ensuring accuracy in responding to member and co-worker requests the first time
Applying instructional design and adult learning theory to identify, address, and create recommendations for customized training to meet target audiences’ needs
Consulting with subject matter experts to construct curriculum and learning program structures for all types of learning channels. (e.g.: eChannel, classroom, and webinar.)
Developing eLearning modules and other digital modalities including video, training scenarios or screencasts
Developing instructor-led and virtual instructor-led course materials
Developing, evaluating, and analyzing assessments, and other feedback tools to determine the effectiveness of learning objectives and recommends program improvements
Providing LMS Support, including uploading learning objects, creating assignments, and troubleshooting as necessary
Planning, scheduling, and publishing courses in the LMS, including managing enrollments, transcripts, and waitlists
What you bring to the team:
Bachelor’s degree in education, training or a closely allied field, or related experience may be substituted, year-for-year, for academic achievement
Minimum of 3 (Three) years of experience in instructional design, including needs analysis, design, and development of learning content (including instructor-led, digital self-paced/e-learning, and knowledge assessments and evaluation)
Minimum 2 (Two) years of MS Office Suite and excellent computer skills
Demonstrated ability to author courses using the Articulate 360 suite
Knowledge of Adult Learning Theory and of the SAM & ADDIE models
Experience using other authoring or media development software
Project management experience
Bonus points if you have:
Adobe Captivate; Adobe Creative Suite
Financial experience
Experience working with an LMS (Learning Management System)
Experience with Cornerstone On Demand
Competitive pay: $35.60 - $53.40 per hour, plus an excellent benefits package!
