Job Description
As an Restaurant Manager you would be working closely with the General Manager/ Deputy General Manager based on site in one of our iconic venues, supporting the smooth running of the restaurant and day to day operation. As a Searcys Restaurant Manager you will mentor the junior team, build a close relationship with the talented chefs and deliver flawless service and exceptional food and drinks to our guests.
Job Type: Full Time
Salary £45,000
Key Responsibilities:
- To work with the Senior Managers, Kitchen and Restaurant team to plan, organise and deliver seamless service to our guests.
- Build positive working relationships & communication methods with key departments
- To brief the restaurant team on all aspects of the business and to oversee the running of service
- To lead the supervisors, waiters and colleagues
- Implementation of the staff induction and mandatory training within the first three months of employment and monitoring of staff performance during probation.
- To monitor daily the standards achieved in your department, to deliver exceptional guest service and levels of attention to detail and report any areas of concerns to the Deputy General Manager.
- To monitor that all staff present themselves correctly for duty and are well groomed whilst on duty.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years experience in people management
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced, multi-faceted, creative environment and able to work well under pressure
- Meticulous organisational abilities; high attention to detail
- Concise and effective verbal and written communication
- Ability to adapt to challenges and opportunities with a solution-oriented perspective
- Excellent strategic thinking and critical reasoning skills
- Creative, positive energy, self-directed, amiable, and composed under pressure; helpful and humble
- Right to work in the UK
