What are the responsibilities and job description for the Scanning Specialist - AM or PM position at WSI Standard?
JOB SUMMARY:
We are hiring four Scanning Specialists to join our team (two day shift & two night shift). This full-time hourly position will work 12-hour shifts on a 2-2-3 schedule from either 6 AM – 6 PM or 6PM – 6AM. This position will be responsible for assisting in resolving inventory issues, completing cycle counts and performing LTO duties. This position will also be expected to be a backup for our current CICC position.
DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Answer questions from LTOs regarding inventory discrepancies
- Perform daily cycle counts
- Investigate inventory discrepancies to determine the root cause
- Work in both the WMS and EWM system
- Perform backup CICC duties, as needed
- Perform LTO duties when Scanning Specialist tasks are completed
- This position will roughly be 30% Scanning Specialist duties / 70% LTO duties
- Other assignments/projects as needed to ensure our customer needs are met
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or GED
- Familiarity with inventory management systems
- Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
