Your Impact:
Job Description:
- Monitoring on-site construction activities
- Inspecting ( sampling and testing ) materials in accordance with client’s scope of services (plans, specifications, and special provisions)
- Maintaining detailed accurate records of daily operations and significant events
- Preparing inspection reports ( Daily Work Reports )
- Monitoring and inspecting the Work Zone Traffic Control (in accordance with the client’s requirements)
- Transporting samples to be tested in a Department laboratory or appropriate facility
- Fulfilling other duties as needed
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbally and in writing)
- Responsible for assisting the Senior Inspector in the performance of their duties
Who You Are
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant construction inspection experience.
- Valid Drivers License
- Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures
- Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies
- Must successfully complete and pass WSP’s Motor Vehicle screening
Preferred Qualifications:
- CTQP Concrete Field Inspector Level I
- CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level I
- CTQP Earthwork Construction Inspection Level I
- CTQP Pile Driving Inspection
- CTQP Drilled Shaft Inspection (required for inspection of all drilled shafts including miscellaneous structures such as sign structures, lighting structures, and traffic signal structures)
- IMSA Traffic Signal Technician Level I
- CTQP Final Estimates Level I
- FDOT Intermediate MOT
- Nuclear Radiation Safety
- Florida Stormwater, Erosion, and Sedimentation Control Training and Certification
- Program for Inspectors and Contractors
- PCC Paving Inspection (TC3)
Must successfully complete and pass WSP’s Motor Vehicle screening.
