WSP is currently initiating a search for a CEI Contract Support Specialist for our Orlando, Florida office. The following locations will also be considered: Lakeland/Tampa . Your Impact
- Perform progress reports, generate monthly estimates, document project quantities, prepare final estimates, process supplemental agreements, unilateral payments and work orders
- Prepares monthly and final estimate packages, as well as engineer’s estimates using Equipment Watch for negotiation purposes.
- Prepares supplemental agreements, unilateral payments and work orders on road and bridge construction projects in accordance with Construction Project Administration Manual (CPAM) and contract documents. Including funds encumbrance authorization requests, completes required forms, prepares the complete package for accuracy and final submission.
- Tracks shop drawing and RFI's to ensure timely resolution. Reviews and assists with data entry in the FDOT's materials acceptance and certification (MAC) system.
- Exercise independent judgment in planning work details and making technical decisions related to office aspects of the project.
- Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
- Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs

Who You Are
Required Qualifications

- High School Diploma or Equivalent and Four (4) years of CEI experience having performed/assisted in project related duties (i.e., Materials Acceptance and Certification (MAC) System input, progress and final estimates, EEO compliance, processing Construction Contract changes, etc.) OR Two (2) years of experience with 3D Modeling and CAD
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Construction Mangament, requires no prior experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbally and in writing)
- Familiarity with the department’s procedures covering the project related duties as stated above and proficient in the computer programs necessary to perform those duties.
- Ability to become proficient in Trimble Business Center - Heavy Construction Edition (HCE) or approved surface to surface comparison software and Engineering Menu.
- -Understand which surfaces are needed from the designer
- -Understand the survey data from the field
- -Prepare the survey data as needed for use in the software
- -Generate accurate earthwork quantities from the software
- CTQP Final Estimates Level I and II
- Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
