WSP is currently initiating a search for a Sr. Coordinator, Talent Development in our Charlotte, NC office. The following location will also be considered: Atlanta, GA. The Sr. Coordinator, Talent Development will be responsible for providing coordination and administration support to the Talent Development team, as well as ensuring initiatives run smoothly and in accordance with relevant guidelines and procedures.
This role suits an individual who is highly organized, tech-savvy, customer-service oriented, diligent and a pro-active self-starter. We are looking for an individual to hit the ground running, who will drive change and continuous improvement.
Your Impact
- Prepare reports for a variety of initiatives by analyzing and synthesizing input/data gathered.
- Assist in the creation of meeting/training materials and documentation.
- Coordinate, schedule and moderate meeting/training sessions.
- Maintain and update various spreadsheets, files, audits and databases.
- nterface with employees and handle employee inquiries and challenging questions.
- Monitor department email inbox, responding to inquiries and escalating as needed.
- Create internal surveys for the Human Resources team.
- Coordinate the administration of development programs.
- Manage learning platforms (Learning Lobby, RedVector, Blue Ocean Brain, etc.).
- Serves as key Learning Management System (LMS) administrator responsible for troubleshooting guidance for users, managing course catalog, administer training assignments, testing courses to confirm functionality, and liaison with Global LMS team and support transition to new LMS.
- Track vendors, licenses, third-party content providers and manage contracts.
- Process invoices.
- Assists with the administration of IACET certification.
- Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Who You Are
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma / GED.
- 5 years of related experience in administrative, Learning & Development and/or HR Generalist roles/responsibilities.
- Ability to confidently take on tasks and see it through to completion with minimal supervision.
- Strong willingness to learn, take on new tasks, and help manage change.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office Software, advanced skills in Excel is required.
- Excellent time management and planning skills.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication proficiency – written, verbal, presentation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor level degree in instructional design, technology, business administration, or communications preferred.
- Previous experience adult learning theory, instructional design, Learning Management System (LMS) administration preferred.
