What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Coordinator position at WTW?

The marketing coordinator will support broad marketing support to the team based in the USA, predominately focused on insurance technology products. North America seen as one of the key markets to achieve the Insurance Consulting and Technology team’s growth ambitions over the next few years, and the local marketing team has seen a rapid growth in demand for support.

This is a remote role and can be based anywhere in the USA. East Coast Time-zone is preferable.

The Role

Marketing Delivery

  • Key support to the Marketing Manager and other NA marketing team members in the delivery of the marketing plan and all its elements and tactics within agreed timelines and budgets. Includes activity in NA as well as supporting global initiatives. Coordinate and liaise with regional and global marketing colleagues, including the Design, PR, Digital and Research/Analytics, as required to deliver campaigns and programs.
  • Support the Marketing Manager and other NA marketing team members with the delivery of digital and face-to-face client events. Liaise with central marketing teams as appropriate.
  • Evaluate marketing campaigns through analysis of analytics, event feedback, and other sources to ensure that the activity is helping the company to achieve its sales goals. Use the activity to help guide and improve future marketing initiatives.
  • Manage the Line of B/Campaign marketing mailing activity using our digital mailing tools and ensure that mailing lists are accurately built according to their target audience and via co-ordination the business, ensure that contact data is up to date.
  • Actively support and advise stakeholders during project execution and deliver to their needs, with a sense of urgency and accountability.

Relationships

  • Develop good working relationships and work closely with other members of the marketing team to ensure consistency of approach to marketing activities and to share new ideas and best practices both in NA and globally.
  • Develop and maintain good relationships with key individuals within the Line of Business/Campaign, in NA and globally by understanding their business issues and providing proactive advice.

Business Awareness

  • Develop and maintain a good understanding of the products, services and solutions that the Insurance Consulting and Technology team offers to clients, as well as the different markets and buyer hubs that exist.
  • Understand the importance of global connectivity for growth of the global business teams and collaboration with industry initiatives.

The Requirements

  • Relevant marketing experience is preferred, ideally gained within professional or financial services, or a B2B environment (ideally consultancy/insurance environment)
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail is essential
  • Adaptable and quick learner with new tools, systems, and processes
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to juggle a large workload and prioritize work effectively
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Ability to use own initiative and work unsupervised, whilst recognizing when to escalate issues or ask for help when required
  • Strong team player with good people skills and a proven track record of providing support to other team members and building collaborative relationships
  • Credibility to work with, and influence, colleagues at all levels within the company
  • Ability to work across geographies

Compensation

Base salary range and benefits information for this position is being included in accordance with the requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to the location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, qualifications/experience, performance in the role.

The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $60,000 - $70,000.
