Wunderman Thompson Intelligence is seeking an Editorial Assistant to produce and support ongoing content for the intelligence.wundermanthompson.com website and wider foresight team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about understanding human behavior as well as researching a broad range of industries from tech and retail to finance and health. You will be an excellent writer and have some editorial experience. The Editorial Assistant will be reporting to the Global Director of Wunderman Thompson Intelligence based in New York City.
What you’ll do:
Research | Be able to spot short-term and long-term trends and ground this insight in data and examples. Research across different sectors.
Write | Proficiently write and support the ongoing output of the Wunderman Thompson Intelligence team. Act as a fact checker, transcriber and proofreader. Contribute to the ongoing content for Wunderman Thompson Intelligence and upload stories to the site and social media outlets.
People | Work closely with the Wunderman Thompson team and be a team player. In addition, connecting with external experts for interviews and insight is important in this role.
Clients | Be able to contribute research and insight for larger agency client-facing projects.

What you'll need:
1+ years of editorial experience at a publication, trends agency, or equivalent.
A high level of spoken and written English.
Outstanding portfolio showcasing your writing.
Keen eye for detail both in factual and grammatical terms.
Ability to juggle multiple priorities in order to meet deadlines.
Desire to find, analyze and unpack a range of research—articulating these findings into informative insight.
Being able to read and interpret data is a plus.
