Analyze stock, order history, and current demand to determine needs.
Prepare purchase orders based on specific requests and/or anticipated needs.
Make responsible decisions regarding supplier choice and shipping method, with the needs of the customer in mind.
Communicate with international suppliers regarding scheduling and shipment of orders.
Communicate with Sales department regarding current open orders and future demand.
Maintain orders from entry to arrival with a high degree of accuracy.
Monitor in-house inventory movement.
Prepare, maintain, and review Supply Chain files and reports.
Maintain knowledge of organizational policies affecting Supply Chain and related departments.
Interface with Sales, to keep sales forecast information current and accurate.
Analyze sales forecasts and sales projects, to develop a plan to support customer needs.
Actively exchange customer and project information with the sales team to screen future demands.
Work with other Supply Chain team members to implement a production plan that best meets our customer needs, while optimizing our production capabilities.
Collaborate with others in the organization to create solutions and ensure successful implementation.
Salary range: $36,000-$40,000/yr DOE
