We are looking for a highly motivated to succeed individual, with a confident and outgoing personality and a drive to learn. This individual will be responsible for assisting customers with their furniture needs. They are looking for a sales focused candidate who enjoys helping people improve their homes and striving to build their account base for future sales.
Retail Sales Associate Responsibilities:
- · Greet and Attend to customers in the showroom
- · Assist customers in buying process, helping them with their furniture needs
- · Work with store manager to set a sales goal and then meet this goal through client retention, average ticket, and close rate productivity
Retail Sales Associate Requirements:
- 2 years previous experience working in retail sales role
- Furniture experience is a plus
- Excellent computer skills, including in-depth internet knowledge and working proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet, and database applications
- Proven, successful sales track record
- Ability to maintain a quality and service oriented attitude
- Must be a self-starter and able to take initiative
- Client relationships is a must
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Ability to work on Saturdays
