URGENTLY HIRING!!! QUALITY ASSURANCE ASSOCIATE (QA)

Position Overview:

To maintain the quality management system and ensure adherence to it and maintain labelling standards across all regions.

Responsibilities and Duties:

· Manage, maintain, and ensure the Foreign Supplier Verification Program for the USA is up to date and the correct information is provided to the buyers (Costco)

· Implement, manage, and update the product specification sheets for USA, Australia, NZ (China, EU occasionally)

· Manage and maintain the Quality Management System according to the SQF Storage and Distribution ed. 9, Costco, HACCP standards

· Manage/ assist with all international suppliers on advice, labelling compliance and businesses legislative standards.

· Manage and maintain all labelling standards according to the FDA, FSANZ standards and stay up to date with current laws.

· Liase with shipping agent to ensure that products supplied meet all regulatory requirements.

· Manage ALL testing globally (PROP-65 California requirements, Microbial Testing, Nutritional Testing) and ensure they meet specification for USA, CHINA, AUS.

·Create product specification sheets for Costco customers and or potential buyers.

· Manage Attestation requests provided from Europe on the new dairy legislation

· Assist with all customer phone queries, complaints & close out to meet customer’s needs.

· Assist Courtney and Lenka with customer (Costco, Walmart China) queries/ legislative background checks.

·Assist Donna with audit queries, customer requirements and legislative updates.

· Work with in-house designer located in Australia on nutritional and ingredient information.

Skills and Experience:

·3-5 years’ experience in a quality role

·Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment

·Team player with strong focus on attention to detail

·Communicate clearly and respectfully in Interactions with all staff, suppliers, and customers

·Commitment to safety and a clean work environment

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $49,000.00 - $51,000.00 per year
