Startup company providing industrial automation systems located in Tulsa, OK. We’re focusing on serving the southwest, south, and southeast United States.

We are looking for someone to oversee the business development and customer relationship.

Position Description

The ideal candidate will prospect and generate new business in the field as well as perform cold calls. Prospective clients are engineering firms, equipment manufacturers, and industrial operations. This candidate should be able to have an ability to understand the customers' needs and present our offerings to fill those needs with our custom automation solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Identify leads, manage prospects and acquire new business
  • Effectively demonstrate company capabilities
  • Meet established goals for territory development and sales quotas
  • Update CRM daily
  • Strategize with Marketing to maintain a complementary approach
  • Initial territories - Oklahoma | Future territories - Texas, Missouri, Colorado, Arkansas, Louisianna

Required Qualifications

  • 2 years experience in B2B outside sales
  • Experience in developing and executing territory sales strategies
  • Strong verbal and written presentation skills
  • Must be highly motivated and able to work independently
  • Ability to learn quickly and think on their feet
  • Personable and effective communications
  • Know when and be able to ask for support

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5 years experience in B2B cold calling sales with a track record of success
  • Familiarity with Industrial Automation or Engineering services
  • Existing network of qualified leads
  • Memberships to professional and community organizations

This will be the first business development position filled. We expect this person will go on to manage the business development department as the company grows. Currently, this is a 100% virtual/remote position and is expected to remain that way.

As a startup company, we are flexible. We have compensation packages that vary based on experience, structure, and your preference. Packages such as 100% commission, base commission, and/or stock options. We are willing to train the right person who is committed to the long haul or take the seasoned vet.

Pay: $1.00 - $150,000.00 per year
