Based out of our corporate offices in Pittsburgh, PA, this position will be responsible for preparing, coordinating, and processing payroll; Communicating with employees and management regarding changes in salary, benefits, etc.; Create reports for information pertaining to payroll and retirement; Enter changes to and audit employee records (both HR and Payroll related); Handle voluntary and involuntary deductions; Audit employee time sheets for hours worked and accuracy.
Requirements:
- BS Degree or Equivalent Experience.
- Minimum two-to-five (2-5) years related work experience in Payroll and Human Resources; Work experience in manufacturing a plus.
- ADP Software Experience
- SHRM Certification a plus.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Payroll, Human Resource Information Systems, as well as tax and labor laws.
- Proficient in Excel and Word.
- Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality of all job related information.
- Must have the working knowledge of different pay classes, such as exempt and non-exempt, in accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act.
- Must have the ability to run multiple payrolls and work with deadlines.
