Photography & Videography Intern

JOB OVERVIEW:

The Photographer/Videographer Marketing Intern will assist with all photo and video creative needs of the FCI and Calandra Group of companies and all affiliates. The Photographer/Videographer Marketing Intern will be responsible for capturing, editing, and delivering photos and videos to support the business and its print and digital marketing materials. This position will report to the Marketing Director.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to utilize photography, and videography and to produce videos for in-house and social media
• Ability to provide photography and photo editing for social media and or website
• Proficient in using the latest versions of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Working knowledge of professional Facebook, LinkedIn, and Vimeo including advertising opportunities
• Applicants must be pursuing a business, marketing, or communication at an accredited school and have completed 30 semester hours prior to the start of the intern program
• Excellent interpersonal skills with high professionalism
• Ability to accomplish projects with little supervision
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• The internship allows students to integrate knowledge and skills in a manner that is mutually beneficial to the student and FCI and Calandra Group
• Supporting plant objectives in the creation of articles and videos - with validation of information through interaction with employees and Communications Team
• Help develop campaigns using artistic writing, videography, and photography to engage with audiences and bring an understanding of the FCI and Calandra Group of companies. 
• Collaborate with the Communications team, business teams, and plant personnel to accent/inspire a positive JENNMAR culture for better business results
• Create and optimize engaging content by assisting, developing, and creating media content
• Utilize Microsoft bundles: Indesign, production software, basic knowledge of systems including PCs, photography, video, printing, and production
• Intern/Co-Op positions must upload an unofficial transcript when submitting an application as this is a requirement
• Willingness to cooperate with a variety of manufacturing plants and mining environments
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Desire to use personal skills in writing, photography, videography, and creativity
