Position Summary: Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of designated project to ensure that goals or objectives of project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.

• Consults with management/teams and reviews project proposals to determine goals, time frame, funding limitations, and procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of resources.
• Develops project plans specifying goals, strategy, staffing, scheduling, identification of risks, contingency plans, and allocation of available resources.
• Develops and maintains a prioritized list of projects along with scope of project on each.
• Identifies and schedules project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks.
• Coordinate meetings with selected teams (management, product managers, engineering, marketing, finance & factories) others TBD.
• Formulates and defines technical scope and objectives of project.
• Coordinates recruitment or assignment of project personnel including assignment of duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.
• Manage stages to complete project (packaging – marketing, shipping requirements – logistics, product development/setup/testing – PLM, PO’s, and delivery dates/replenishment – purchasing)
• Directs project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within budget.
• Establish a working relationship with the teams and suppliers in Asia to drive project schedule, deliverables, and quality.
• Work with sales to initiate new projects and involve key departments for project launch/action items. TBD
• Create a scope of project up front to better provide an accurate quote.
• Establishes standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation.
• Reviews status reports prepared by project personnel and modifies schedules and plans as required.
• Prepares project status reports and keeps management, clients, and others informed of project status and related issues.
• Confers with project personnel to provide recommendations and resolve problems.
• Coordinates and responds to requests for changes from original specifications.
• Develops business processes that ensure developed application meets all project requirements.
• Develops and maintains technical and project documentation.
• Develops quality assurance test plans and directs quality assurance testing.
• Coordinates project activities with marketing, sales, engineering, operations, customer support, and client staff to ensure goals and requirements are met.
• Prepares and presents the statement of work and proposals for identified clients in conjunction with account management.

Education/Experience:

• Business Degree/Master's Degree (M. A.) or equivalent; or three to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Engineering degree with PMP (Preferable)
