You’ll work in our internal creative team with marketing teams to connect to our customers, potential customers and partners with great design and concepts. You’ll be a key part of a team that constantly applies fresh thinking and creative solutions to marketing challenges.



What you’ll do


This role is part of The Hub (Xero’s internal creative and design department) and will be based in our

London office. While part of the Hub team, you’ll work closely with our design group from other regions.


You’ll work closely with other Hub members and a broad range of internal stakeholders and to execute their advertising and marketing needs. This work will likely be a combination of adapting existing material, from around the Network, as well as creating new designs and campaign concepts.


You’ll apply creative thinking to produce concepts and designs that can be further developed and crafted into world-class communications for Xero in all formats. You’ll contribute to Hub and Xero culture and help improve the way we do things around here. You’ll also develop yourself – working at Xero’s an opportunity to grow, develop and learn from established creatives, leaders and marketers.

Day to day:
  • Strategy – You’ll find the key insights that inform the idea behind everything you and the Hub teamcreate. You’ll present your work and support the presentation of your team’s work internally.
  • Creative – You’ll be an ideas person first. All creative, from design, art direction and copy to PR, content and events, needs to start with an idea. As such, you’ll be expected to find your groove with adapting and generating ideas that are expressed visually, with words, and in the experiences we offer people. You’ll be comfortable working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to refine, push and build on ideas and to communicate those ideas to others.
  • Craft – You’re versed in digital creative and design, and possibly have an understanding of print too. You’ll be creating campaigns and communications that consider our SEO and SEM strategies. You’ll also need to quickly get up to speed with crafting non-digital campaigns and communications for print, events, and outdoor advertising.


What you’ll bring with you
  • Proven industry experience in digital design and marketing
  • An eye for design and conceptual thinking
  • Design software/platform proficient, e.g. Adobe Design, Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Experience in using Figma would be advantageous
  • User interface design
  • User experience skills
  • Operating within tight timeframes
  • Ability to manage several projects at a time
  • Basic presentations skills
