Product Compliance Manager

About the role: This role is essential to ensuring that the products Xero builds comply with the local government regulations and therefore, plays an integral role in directly contributing to the Xero Vision to be the most insightful and trusted small business platform. At Xero, building software is a team sport. As part of the Product Risk & Compliance team you will be working closely with our product, legal, customer and design teams to ensure that Xero software meets the regulatory requirements applicable to Singapore small businesses. You will liaise with government and industry stakeholders and share your expert knowledge of Singapore tax and accounting with the entire Product team. The Product Risk & Compliance team is a curious, collegial collection of subject matter experts with a passion for research, communication and building software for small business. Team members are located in four continents - a growth mindset, a diplomatic persona and collaborative approach to thinking is an essential ingredient for success in this role. Xero is a global business, so while your focus is in-region, it will be necessary for you to regularly work with teams who are globally dispersed and may result in meetings and collaboration with colleagues in other timezones (and outside the “standard business hours” of your region).
