Associate - M&A
The Associate - M&A will help lead programs to identify and secure new sources of growth for the corporation across a variety of sub-sectors within technology. The position will be a key contributor to the development and implementation of the overall Xerox corporate strategy. He / She will work mainly out of the Norwalk, CT office, with the ability to work remote a couple of days per week, and report to the VP - M&A.
Responsibilities
Research and identify activities to support new sources of growth for the Corporation including prospective acquisitions, minority investments, partnerships and organic investments- Complete in-depth assessments of core and adjacent markets, including industry trends, value drivers, competitive positioning, and help develop actionable strategies for Xerox to successfully participate in these markets
- Identify and secure new M&A opportunities, including industry liaisons, banker meetings and independent research
- Develop financial models for industry and company valuation including comparable company and transaction evaluations, discounted cash flows and LBO
- Work closely with business unit leads and strategy team to develop synergy cases and revenue growth opportunities
- Work closely with the Xerox Ventures team to identify potential opportunities
- Perform financial due diligence
Qualifications
Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in investment banking public or private equity investing, and/or venture capital- Strong analytical problem-solving skills, with demonstrated quantitative ability
- Track record of high achievement and growth in responsibility
- Experience in strategic planning or corporate development function is a plus
- Technology investment experience is a plus
