Chicago Office Technology Group (COTG), a Xerox company, a part of Xerox Business Solutions Midwest, is seeking an entrepreneurial Regional Sales Manager to lead, coach, inspire and motivate a team of Outside Sales Professionals who are focused on selling hardware, software, and information technology (IT) solutions to named accounts in the suburban Chicago marketplace.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, develop and motivate a team of individual contributors to achieve sales team objectives
- Manage a multi-million-dollar annual budget with double digit growth
- Develop and manage sales budgets and forecasts to ensure target sales goals and profit objectives are achieved
- Plan and implement recurring team meetings and trainings to provide cohesive approach to revenue targets
- Provides a management-level point of contact for customers and establishes and maintains strong customer rapport
- Facilitate account development strategies on target accounts to drive net new business
- Coach and develop strategies to maximize market potential, grow net new business and upsell into current client accounts
- Manage daily / weekly sales activity by reviewing team performance pipeline and activity
- Create and foster atmosphere of success with a collaborative and fun environment
- Oversee and motivate a team of individual contributors
- Submit accurate forecasts
- Proactively retain, develop, and recruit sales team members
Qualifications:
- Three (3) years or more experience leading a profitable sales team
- Track record of producing results
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Office technology industry experience preferred, not essential
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
- Strong technology skills with knowledge of Microsoft (MS) Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook as well Salesforce
