Connecticut Business Systems, A Xerox Company is seeking a reliable Toner and Parts Runner to provide assistance to primary onsite technicians at a designated major client within the healthcare field. This person will primarily be responsible for delivering supplies (toner, consumables, parts, etc...) to the client's various departments and locations. This candidate will receive in-house training alongside an internal IT department and onsite technicians within the healthcare facility.
Responsibilities
- Become familiar with client's sites and layouts of departments to ensure timely delivery of materials to customer locations
- Check ticketing system for immediate end user supply needs - deliver supplies to close out tickets
- Check 360APP (electronically) to determine if supply levels are low
- Conduct walkthroughs at each department to determine if they are in need of backup supplies
- Call satellite hospital locations to check on their toner needs and deliver on a weekly basis
- Organize and maintain toner supplies in toner closets located at the main hospital locations
- Inventory supplies onsite, consult with onsite technician, and order any necessary supplies from supply department
- Assist in benchmark goal of decreasing the amount and frequency of supply calls from end users for this particular client
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required- Associates degree or Technical Certification preferred, but not necessary
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to travel to customer sites, meetings, company related functions, etc. (with short notice)
- Must be able to lift/ carry up to 25lbs, transferring medium sized packages in and out of vehicle
- Great interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to work well independently
