QA Automation Architect
Marshfield, MO - Remote
Employment : W2
- Test Automation Architect will have complete ownership for preparing test automation solution, designing automation frameworks and lead the implementation of automation test strategy, test plans & test execution of the product.
2. Exceptionally strong in multiple technologies with capability to build robust and scalable architecture & real-time automation solution to test high volume data quality
3. Work with the Architect and the Business teams to ensure end to end testing with all systems as needed
4. Work with development and DevOps teams in defining CI/CD processes and frameworks
5. Evaluate, select and implement best usage of test automation tools. Recommends new tools, techniques and methodologies needed to enhance productivity and quality.
6. Experience in architecting automation solutions for On-premise to cloud migration and Data Governance.
7. Collaborate with product and project teams to strategize & align long term solution test automation including roadmap, tools, framework & approach.
8. Develop strategy to build DevOps and Continuous testing pipelines to support regression testing based on the technical analysis, complexity, and reusability
9. Responds appropriately and competently to the demands of work challenges when confronted with changes, ambiguity, adversity, and other pressures
10. Builds presentation materials and present ideas to executive audiences.
11. Provides governance and controls for projects to ensure alignment to automation standards and vision.
12. Able to define and monitor metrics and KPIs for automation assignments.
13. Able to lead other automation engineers and guide/mentor/coach them to grow as specialists and deliver high quality results
14. Assesses and communicates the organizational (skills, processes, structures or culture) and financial impact of all QE/Automation strategies
Education and Experience:
1. Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline; master’s preferred.
2. Typically requires a minimum of 10 years of related technical experience of increasing responsibility.
3. Strong experience operating as a Automation architect on meaningful projects. Broad experience across several domains is a plus
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Test automation
2. Design, develop and maintain robust test automation framework, standards and best practices.
3. Extensive experience in automation tools/frameworks like Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber, Rest Assured,
4. Exposure to Jira, GitHub and any one of Test Management tools
5. Extensive experience in ETL (Matillion), Cloud(Azure, Snowflake ) and Data Governance ( collibra) Testing
6. Experience working on a data migration effort to Snowflake
6. Should have good knowledge in SQL or any other Database
7. Should have experience in JavaScript, Java, Python
8. Should have good knowledge on CI/CD tools like Jenkins or any other similar tools
9. Experience working in Service Virtualization, Cloud, Agile, CI/CD, DevOps environments.
10. Experience working on Automation tool POC\'s and able to quickly Ramp Up on the Technology & Tools.
11. Should be able to drive technical initiatives and suggest areas of improvement across QE organization.
12. Ability to write automation scripts and perform code reviews
13. Experience working with multicultural teams with offshore – onshore model;
14. Must be a team player and include others in technical decision-making process.
15. Excellent communication skills.
