FT CONTRACT POSITION - 30 - 40 hours per week

In search of a creative hard-working team player to design and illustrate new and exciting artwork to be printed on various products sold by Xpres.
Responsibilities and Duties
· Primary task will be updating a catalog art file with new/revised information.
· Use various programs to design creative layouts and virtual art for speculative presentation to clients
· Enter, position, and alter existing graphic elements and text to fit on specific products
· Enter, store, and retrieve information on file
· Make shape selections / masking in Photoshop to isolate individual area to tweak
Qualifications and Skills
· Proficient in Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign.
· Proficient in Mac OS
· Experience managing creative assets on a shared server.
· Ability to shape/size/manipulate objects as needed for product
· Highly savvy computer skills and other technical skills in relation to design creation
· Knowledge of print art requirements
· Adaptable, able to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines and client required timelines
· Experience in cohesive team environment
· Care and attention to detail is key.
· Experience in catalog design is huge plus
· Active Listener, Critical Thinker, Sense of Urgency
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
