THE ROLE: The Finance Manager will be responsible for financial analysis and management necessary for the North American Metrology business, specifically the Uniontown and DuBois Operations. This role will be responsible for all FP&A activity, including weekly / monthly / quarterly forecasting, annual budgeting, variance analysis, etc. This role will act as the finance business partner to Operations Leadership to ensure alignment on financial targets and identification of risks and opportunities in achieving targets.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Ensure all operations are performing to budget and forecast standards and provide explanations to all variances to expectations.
- Provide oversight and management of weekly status meetings of operations, labor and overhead spending to track efficiencies and variance to budget and forecast.
- Drive business and financial insights into the senior operations management team through data and analytics.
- Monitor all inventory levels and ensure that inventory is aligned to budget and forecast expectations.
- Complete and review monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packages for senior management.
- Support overall coordination and execution of the Metrology budget, strategic plan, and forecasting activities understanding the year over year changes.
- Work closely with CI / Procurement Leadership and provide savings guidance guidelines and present Productivity results to Senior Leadership
- Develop and implement productivity and efficiency in finance processes to make greater time available for support of operational improvement initiatives.
- Development of Finance Models and non-standard Analysis using corporate tools
- Lead, assess, and provide feedback to develop high-performing team.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree with concentration in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, Operations, or similar discipline; or equivalent experience is required.
- 7 years of experience in Finance, Operations, Procurement, or relevant field.
- Demonstrated strong problem-solving, analytical and critical thinking skills
- Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to develop and articulate actionable, fact-based, insights and recommendations. Deliver this by telling a simple, compelling story to varying types of audiences to guide decision-making
- Demonstrated technical proficiency in use of Microsoft Office programs (especially PowerPoint and Excel) and other reporting and data mining tools (e.g., SFDC, Business Objects, etc.)
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively partner and communicate with cross functional teams
- Excellent project management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment to meet aggressive goals and high-quality standards.

- Excellent analytical skills, able to manage multiple projects under strict timelines, work well in a demanding dynamic environment and meet overall objectives.

- Hands on experience with one or more of the following applications: Coupa, High Radius, Concur, SAP S4, Oracle EBS, Catalyst, Emagia, Get Paid or Ariba.
- Strong knowledge of master data management and concepts
- Experience with one or more technical coding/query languages. Eg: SQL, Python, VB.Net, C#, C , etc.
- Experience in a multi-system landscape support
- Familiarity with compliance and governance controls
The estimated salary range at this professional level is $110,000 to $150,000 plus bonus. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
