Sales Staff

Job Summary This position supports all sales activities including collecting, maintaining, and reporting data to manager. This position is responsible for managing new model development between customer and internal departments with regular updates provided to management.

Essential Functions

• Collects and summarizes sales data for weekly and monthly reconciliation.

• Collects, analyzes, and summarizes data for Request for Quotations (RFQ).

• Supports all new model activities to include internal evaluations and customer new model reviews.

• Collects, analyzes, and summarizes data for design changes and compensation requests. Fills out necessary related documents.

• Supports all activities as needed. Completes special projects from management.

• Supports new business development primarily after maker layout has been awarded

Other Functions

• Interacts with co-workers, customers, outside vendors, and government officials.

Requirements
Education Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field, five years’ experience in a related field, and/or a combination of the two.

Experience It is preferred that the candidate has experience working in a diverse OEM auto parts manufacturer.

Skills This position requires negotiation, presentation, interpersonal and communication skills, proficiency in all Microsoft Windows/Office Suite programs (especially Excel), ability to interact with diverse associates and customers, ability to perform calculations related to explaining cost detail and ability to stay organized and accomplish duties with minimal supervision.

Working Conditions This position requires the ability to work in a climate-controlled office as well as a manufacturing plant environment, walk on concrete floors, lift up to 30 pounds, perform repetitive keystrokes on a continual basis, bend, kneel, twist, and reach.

Travel This position requires occasional travel. A valid driver’s license is required for use of the company car. Travel outside the United States may be required
