What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Coordinator position at Yamaha Motor?
Yamaha has an excellent opportunity for a successful Account Coordinator to join our Marine Business Unit inKennesaw, GA.The Account Coordinator will support Boat Builders, WaterCraft and Marine Dealers, and our field staff by placing orders, releasing product and reporting for both WaterCraft and Outboards Marine teams. He/she provides customer service to all internal and external customers—including ISD, Logistics and boat factory. This position will focus on process improvement to help ensure we are able to proactively seek solutions for our customers. The Account Coordinator products, sist in managing the supply chain of outboard motors, sport boats and WaveRunner watercraft, while improving our communication and synergy within our teams.
Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
- Maintain daily/weekly contact with can regard to forecasts, orders, supply and delivery estimates. Provide proactive and detailed follow-through on customer communications
- Work closely to support field staff; quickly respond to phone calls and emails to properly address product questions/issues in the field
- Communicate regularly with Operations, Planning and Sales departments regarding supply constraints, demand allocations, and any other requirements.
- Monitor the demand, orders and production of outboard engine, WaveRunner and sport boat product to refine the promised availability dates
- Proactively identify and communicate opportunities to improve inventory levels by identifying, demand, sales, and making sure the right product is going to the right places
- Provide information to management by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends, with recommendations for improvement
- Receive daily manifests from Yamaha Jet Boat Manufacturing (YJBM)
- Provide backup to Boat Logistics Specialist when necessary
- Maand nage information flow by working with ISD to develop standardized reporting
- Work continuously with other divisions (i.e., Logistics, Accounting, ISD, Sales, YJBM loading bay) to recommend process enhancements
- Focus on “Raving Fans” by Ken Blanchard philosophy to improving customer service
Administrative duties may include but are not limited to:
- Process, log and mail out MCOs
- Process parts orders, rebills and credits
- Manage and update various inter-office documents
- Prepare for dealer meetings and/or sales meetings
Experience, Knowledge, and Skills Requirements:
- BA / BS degree required
- 3-5 years customer service role preferred
- Dealership background or similar industry experience is preferred
- Must have excellent organizational, time-management, and communications skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook)
- SAand P business solutions and/or knowledge of TM system is preferred
- Must be a self-motivated team player

Salary : $45,200 - $57,200
