Job Brief
Oversight to ensure all divisional marketing activities/communications are aligned with YMFUS & YMUS strategic goals & management/development of marketing team members.
Summary:
- Implements/oversees/guides management of all creative materials to achieve objectives and goals, ensure adherence to corporate guidelines and policies while maintaining work quality, including timeliness and overall satisfaction with dealers and consumers.
- Influential point of contact/secondary contact with principle agencies for advertising, incentives, communications, website & digital to build & grow YMFUS brand awareness. Understanding budget management & project oversight.

Essential Job Duties:
With VP of Retail & Commercial Finance, develops direction and implementation of marketing materials with marketing team/agencies to deliver the most effective materials to increase awareness of YMFUS brand (dealers & consumer). Working relationship with multiple agencies and legal team/approvals.
Takes on guidance role for all facets of marketing activities, with an eye towards continually evolving the YMFUS brand into a premium position & consistency across all platforms. Maintain good communication between all marketing & sales staff.
Represent YMFUS Marketing efforts to our YMUS Product Group Marketing Managers and Teams in order to develop synergy and support of Yamaha Retail efforts. Coordinate CRM automation/campaigns to create retail finance opportunities for consumers in conjunction with various product groups marketing efforts.
Responsible for online brand positioning of YMFUS to include but not limited to: consumer facing website, positioning on industry sites, account payment sites and corporate sites.
Maintain creative of direct solicitations for Y.E.S. retail sales with a focused and cost-effective solicitation campaign consisting of digital and direct mail efforts. Work with the Insurance Ops Mgr to develop marketing campaigns, forecasted budget and manage implementation of Insurance Operations dealer/consumer campaigns.
Expand awareness & understanding of social, digital & CRM initiatives. Work with internal Marketing groups to ensure a cohesive marketing position based on product line segmentations
Utilize research in all decision making and make requests for additional research required.
Develops marketing team members for future growth in the organization and providing them with continuing education opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in business administration, marketing or communications is preferred
- Minimum 5 years experience in marketing and advertising
- Minimum 3 years experience in management and proven ability to perform management tasks to be successful in role
- Moderate travel approx. 8 weeks per year and ability to travel alone over extended periods and weekends
- Must have proven ability to build good business relationships with vendors, customers and support groups
- Must have a proven record of project management skills, excellent writing skills, and proficient in computer and graphic languages
