What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Support Specialist position at YAP?
Status: Full-Time Hourly FLSA classification: Non-exempt
Summary of the Position: The primary responsibility of the Program Support Specialist is to demonstrate an understanding of the programmatic, fiscal and reporting requirements of each contract assigned and a clear understanding of agency policy from which the Program Support Specialist can accurately process data, ensure contract and policy compliance and provide management data. The Program Support Specialist will become familiar with a Web Based System Netsmart/ EVOLV. Duties may include:
- Processing weekly information from assigned remote locations using Web Based Systems that are submitted to the Business Center
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and reports.
- Process hourly, per diem billings and BH billing on a weekly or monthly basis.
- Prepare, review, monitor and develop reports regarding contracts to ensure local program compliance.
- Conduct quality control internal audit
- Act as a liaison to communicate information between The Business Center and the local Program Director and Administrative Manager of remote locations. Communicate with State Leadership concerning program related concerns as well as communications with Referral Source Contacts.
Qualifications/Requirements: Associates degree in Business or Communications preferred;
- High school diploma and two years general office experience required.
- Experience in Billing, Medical billing or Coding Preferred.
- Strong Computer Skills Required.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills required.

Salary : $31,700 - $40,200
