Yaskawa is currently seeking a Strategic Account Representative to work at the corporate headquarters in Waukegan, IL.
Responsibilities:
- Enter domestic orders for global customers.
- Manage shipping schedules through customer portals and Yaskawa spreadsheet documentation. Updates ship dates, pricing, confirmations, quantities.
- Assist semiconductor customers and general que customers in resolving issues regarding expediting, supplier delays, customer-specific requirements. Makes judgment calls on expedited orders, joggling available parts to fill hot purchase orders, review customer forecasts and cut purchase orders to meet needs.
- Attend meetings with customers and suppliers forecast meetings, product, and design meetings. Reviews backlog, on-time delivery performance, and follows up with customers regarding updates.
- Serve as backup for Sr. Strategic Rep, supervisor, and Inside Sales.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, and Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with ERP systems and customer portals.
- Experience providing customer service in a manufacturing environment.
- Technically proficient to substitute alternative solutions/products to help meet customers’ technical and delivery requirements.
- Ability to handle issues diplomatically and resolve difficult situations in a professional manner.
