The Warehouse Clerk C position is responsible for receiving, storing, maintaining and shipping of all Yaskawa America Repair products and services.
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
- Receive and check incoming parts for accuracy from vendors, update computer system, and place in appropriate warehouse location.
- Participates in cycle counting program, bin/space consolidation program, care of and general cleanliness of inventory and warehouse facility.
- Pick, package, label and prepare products for domestic and international customers and company branches using either UPS, Federal Express or common carrier.
- Maintain warehouse equipment as per schedule and report any problems with equipment to Supervisor immediately; maintain a neat and organized work area.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED, or equivalent related work experience.
- Minimum two to three years of warehouse experience including shipping, receiving and inventory maintenance or related work experience.
- Computer literate including data entry experience.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to read and write English, add and subtract, and follow instructions.
- Certification with the use of sit-down, stand-up and/or swing reach forklifts.
- Must be able to fulfill essential job functions in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner.
