We are seeking an Industrial Engineer for our Buffalo Grove, IL location. In this role you will be responsible for the automation and optimization of warehousing workflow and material processes (receiving, picking, deliveries, inventory control). This role will support future efforts to capture and use volumne metrics, SAP advanced warehousing functions and EWM transition, the integration of automated equipment into processes.
Our requirements include a B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering and minimum of 3 years of engineering experience in an ISO certified manufacturing environment along with strong knowledge gained from actual experience with manufacturing concepts such as factory layout, line balancing, worflow analysis, capacity analysis, employee training, 5S, cost analysis, etc. The ideal candidate will aslo have advanced knowledge of SAP Warehouse Management (WM/EWM) along with strong knowledge of ergonomic principles.
