JOB SUMMARY
Supervise, monitor activity, and administer procedures supporting the integrity of the customers data within the companies account database. Effectively lead staff to achieve accurate and timely account updates.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise and directly participate in the resolution of complex customer account database requests received from Collections, Sales, external and other internal customers.
- Supervise and promote cross training of the different Corporate Database team-members to support the different teams.
- Manage resources and staffing needs. Coordinate and integrate work based on team capabilities and availability.
- Promote process improvement. Perform trend analysis and monitor process effectiveness.
- Provide adequate work distribution and supply proper resources to ensure an even flow of workloads.
- Assist teams in setting objectives, goals, performance standards, and expectations. Identify and provide employees with necessary resources and training to meet objectives. Provide timely, relevant performance feedback and employee evaluations. Recognize and reward positive results. Serve as mentor and role model to team members.
- Maintain effective communications: with employees, other managers, and inter-team. Provide timely reporting of status and issues. Contribute toward providing a positive and productive work environment. Keep team informed on company strategies and goals and where their efforts support these. Communicate with internal/external customers to assure understanding and alignment of the specific Database standards.
- Communicate company and office policies and procedures to monitor for compliance.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Associates Degree or Two (2) years’ experience in related field.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Very detailed oriented and strong analytical skills.
- Proficient using MS Office applications (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel).
- Mainframe systems knowledge required.
- Experience in managing teams remotely.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Four (4) years of experience in the transportation industry.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent educational background or work experience.
- Any database or experience of maintaining data integrity of account information within a table.
- Previous supervisory experience.
WORKING CONDITIONS
This job has the opportunity to operate in a professional office environment indoors or remotely utilizing company equipment. Routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and fax machines.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The position requires the ability to spend long hours sitting or standing while using office equipment and computers. Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as typing and keying. Occasional lifting, pushing/pulling, carrying 10 lbs of supplies and materials is required.
