JOB SUMMARY
A customer service role responsible for the tracking of customer freight through the truckload process. This position will equally serve as a tool to learn brokerage processes, system use, and to gain industry knowledge. Logistics Coordinator is an entry gate for career growth throughout the company.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Utilize strong communication skills to provide essential feedback to the Yellow Logistics sales teams.
- Provide professional and reliable shipment updates for the Yellow Logistics and Yellow Corp network.
- Enter and analyze data within the brokerage TMS (Truckload Management System).
- Multi-task and problem solve in a loud, fast-paced environment.
- Maintain a positive attitude that results in elevated internal and external customer service levels.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Two (2) years of previous customer service experience.
- Effective verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Professional, likable, and outgoing personality.
- Great attitude and desire to work hard while having fun.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, or related field.
- Previous experience in the transportation, logistics, or supply chain industry.
WORKING CONDITIONS
This job operates in a professional office environment indoors. Routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The position requires the ability to spend long hours sitting or standing while using office equipment and computers. Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as typing and keying. Occasional lifting, pushing/pulling, carrying 10 lbs of supplies and materials is required.
