What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Construction Manager position at Yesway Logo?
• Support the Construction Department with preconstruction, procurement and administrative
duties;
• Communicate efficiently and effectively with vendors to ensure coordination and facilitation is
maintained;
• Work closely with computer-aided design (CAD) and Project Managers to establish new store
plans and layouts;
• Maintain all aspects of equipment within construction department – establish equipment lists,
ensure proper ordering and follow up;
• Assist in remodels, new builds, and determine budgets by assisting in the budget process;
• Provide feedback to Senior Project Manager and Construction Manager regarding plan sets; and
• Work closely with Senior Project Manager and Construction Project Managers on various special
projects
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred;
- Minimum two years of construction management experience; but not necessary Either: Minimum two years of construction management related experience preferred; OR Construction management related experience required;
- Effectively prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment;
- Strong analytical and organizational skills;
- Ability to communicate, verbal or written in a professional and positive demeanor with associates, vendors, customers and clients; and
- Must be able to travel by car or air to the jobsite(s) as assigned, including overnight travel.
Salary is commensurate with experience.
