What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager, Operations position at Yext?
As an Operations Manager, you will oversee a team that partners with the Platform Services & Support team to assist in post-sales client support initiatives. These initiatives and processes are vital to supporting our existing clients and maintaining value of the Yext product. In this hands-on role, you will manage a team that are experts in Yext’s platform. Please note that this is an internal role in which you will be partnering with the internal Yext Platform Services & Support team to deliver value to existing Yext clients. As an integral part of the organization, you’ll work directly with team members to learn and grow an exciting career at Yext!
What You'll Do
- Manage a team of individual contributors who are assisting the platform services and support team with existing tasks and processes
- Maintain and own new hire onboarding and training
- Design and report on KPIs and team success metrics
- Contribute to internal resources and deliver meaningful product feedback to leadership and relevant teams
- Manage & prioritize multiple inbound requests and drive to completion
- Collaborate with all relevant stakeholders to generate and distribute deliverables presenting strategic planning initiatives
- Manage relationships with stakeholders to achieve project goals
What You Have
- BA/BS degree or similar college level education
- 5 years of operations, customer support and a minimum of 2 years of leadership experience
- Proficient in data analysis and manipulation with solid spreadsheet (Excel)
- Outstanding and effective interpersonal skills; along with strong ability to communicate complex issues across departments and with external contacts
- Detail-oriented, organized, process-driven
- Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to thrive in a cross-functional team environment
- Interest in technology
