The YMCA is looking for fun, hard working, individuals looking to make an impact in our community. This position will provide care for children at the My Little Waiting Room program located on the campus of Providence St. Vincent hospital. This is a drop in child care center for patients in the hospital. Age range accepted will be 0-12. Hours for the position are 8:15am-1:45pm.

Job Responsibilities:
A Teacher will work in the program supervising any aides or volunteers helping in the program. Responsibilities include maintaining a safe and developmentally appropriate environment for the children, engaging children in enriching activities during their time in program, managing paperwork, and fostering positive relationships with children, parents, and hospital staff. A Site Director will also be available to assist in all areas as needed.
Requirements
- Pass a YMCA Background Check
- Previous work experience or education focused on children ages 0-12
- Current CPR and First Aid certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.
- Current Food Handlers certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.
- At least 18 years of age.
