Would you like to provide excellent front-line customer service representing the YMCA’s Financial Development department? As the Donor Database Specialist, you will be responsible for processing gifts, donor acknowledgments, financial reports, and fundraising analytics in Raiser’s Edge.
In this position, you will be able to use your skills to:
Provide support for the management of the donor database through accurate data input and regular audits to insure the integrity of the data.
Serve as the lead for cash handling including collecting, and counting from multiple sources including branches, mail, and on-line giving platforms.
Serve as lead for gift processing ensuring timely processing, acknowledgments are sent via the appropriate channel to support positive donor relationships.
Manage all donor pledge reminders and internal reports to ensure timely pledge collection.
Serve as the lead on event data management through the Event Module in Raiser’s Edge.
Process donations using donor CRM database software, reconcile incoming cash, checks, and credit cards, and complete bank deposits.
Are you a good fit?
You have an Associate's Degree or Bachelor’s Degree (preferred).
You have at least 2 years of demonstrated experience with donor development in a non-profit environment.
You have at least 2 years of experience with a CRM donor management system (Raiser’s Edge preferred).
You have advanced Excel and Microsoft Office experience.
You have a working knowledge of general office equipment.
You have previous cash-handling experience.
You have demonstrated skills in customer service, public relations, and organization.
You have previous experience working with people of diverse backgrounds.
You have excellent written and oral communication skills.
You are great at troubleshooting.
You have highly developed interpersonal skills, an affinity for both establishing and managing relationships, and have demonstrated a high level of confidence and poise

Starting Wage: $16.13 per hour, depending on qualifications
Hours: Full-Time, 40 hours per week
