What are the responsibilities and job description for the Personal Trainers (Neenah-Menasha YMCA) position at YMCA of the Fox Cities?
The Neenah-Menasha Y is hiring Personal Trainers to use their passion for health & well-being to encourage and empower individuals to make a difference in their lives! The Y has award-winning facilities with both functional training areas and top-of-the-line strength & cardio equipment. As a personal fitness trainer, you’ll safely design, implement and monitor exercise programs for individuals and small groups of our members. Trainers also work closely with Registered Dietitians and Physical Therapists to provide to complete & holistic approach to whole body improvements.
This is a part-time position with flexible hours, ranging 2-6 hours/week. We're in need of trainers with specialized experience in strength and conditioning, weight-lifting and/or pre- & post-rehab clients.
- Degree in a health & wellness-related field or personal trainer certification through a NCCA-accredited institution
- Prior experience working with special populations (i.e., diabetes, cancer survivors, pre/post-rehab, elderly, youth) is preferred but not required.
- Certification in CPR, First-Aid & AED or be willing to obtain through the YMCA once hired.
