What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer School Age Staff position at YMCA of the Fox Cities?
The Y is seeking energetic individuals to come spend a summer of fun working in the Summer School Age program at Tanner Elementary in Kaukauna!
Under the supervision of the School Age Coordinators, staff will help oversee summer school age day camp program at Tanner Elementary School; they will care for and supervise children ages 5-12. Leading recreational activities, organizing large group games, building and maintaining positive relationships with children, parents and staff.
Hours and schedule vary, 40 hours/week seasonal position available.
Experience working with school age children preferred.
Assistant Qualifed Staff Require : A minimum of Introduction to Child Care Professions, and Skills and Strategies for the Child Care Teacher, 6 credits in Early Childhood Education, or equivalent.
Lead Qualified Staff Require: A minimum of Introduction to Child Care Professions, and Skills and Strategies for the Child Care Teacher, 6 credits in Early Childhood Education, or equivalent. Or Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education.
